Welcome to Rewind

Do you or your loved one feel that church is inaccessible because dementia is preventing you or them from fully engaging in the music and the message?

Hello, I’m Leanne Hill and as a retired chaplain in the aged care industry I’ve noticed that those who have had a history of attending church are often left behind in today’s more contemporary church services.

Rewind is designed to engage people through well-loved hymns, a short comforting message, encouraging prayers and fellowship and connection over a light morning tea.

If you are caring for a loved one living with dementia, you are warmly invited to attend and accompany your loved one as they re-engage in what was once familiar and comforting.

There is no cost to attend but donations would be gratefully received.

Rewind is held on the first Wednesday of the month at The Heights Church, 110a Galston Road, Hornsby Heights. Please enter via Grevillea Cres.

The morning commences at 10.00 am with the service finishing at 10:45 am followed by a light morning tea.

Our time together concludes around 11:30 am.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, January 7th at 10 am.
